Traditional AI looks at data and tells you what it sees: "This email is spam," "This photo contains a cat." Generative AI flips the script. Instead of analyzing existing content, it creates brand new content— text, images, music, code, and more.
Think of it this way. Traditional AI asks: "Is this a cat?" Generative AI asks: "Draw me a cat riding a skateboard." One recognizes. The other imagines.
